We have the freedom of choice, or do we?
we are free to say or do whatever we want right up to the point when we chose to do something which was meant as a bluff. My example my parents told me if i didn't do well, or got into trouble the usual then i would be moved to the boarding school my older sister is at. So the other day I told my mum I want to go to the boarding school. My reason where quite just and valid I simply stated the fact that I dont work hard unless I am challenged or forced so if i went to c'ed school I would be made to do certain amounts of work and i would be challenged. I wont to go to this school as I am a SLACKER unless I am challenged or pushed i wont work. I mean I put of doing homework till the last minute (thats even if i BOTHER to do it). So I always had the freedom to go to the boarding school, untill I chose to use it.

Freedom Of Choice
My IQ
For any who may have read my blog umpteen days ago about my IQ i have taken a few more tests and im pleased to say my iq is now said to be 138. Although what i have learnt is you dont infact get smarter you get better at the tests. So basically now im happy
For All those who are bored of paying for Games
I recently (yesterday) found a site which will buy games for you. I know it sounds like a scam but its pretty genuine. All you have to do is put your email here etc and your away. Its a points earning system so the more you earn the better you'll do. http://www.rewards1.com/index.php?referrer_id=112302
hope you do well:D
SATS
AHHH I spent the last 2/3 weeks revising for my Sats just to go in and nothing I've revised actually being in the papers. The last to tests of the week where both Science so I went in expecting them to both be really hard (as science isn't my strongest subject and I want to take triple science next year so I have to do well). Only to sit there and start laughing, I mean seriously laughing a full "Janice" laugh at how easy the first paper was. Then in the afternoon I go in and sit my second paper (this time I'm expecing it to be really hard as the first one was really easy). This time instead of laughing I was quite insulted I've been revising all the difficult topics missing out all the easy things as i didn't think there would be anything that easy in the paper. So when I was reading this paper reading questions my 9 year old sister could answer I was insulted. But the real Irony is the fact where all my friends found it easy I struggled.
Lets just hope I don't fail.
Exams
I'm now facing my newest and hardest exam's i've had. but for some reason i'm my usual calm collected self (which is what people are forever asking me how im staying like this)instead of the "nervous wrecks" which most if not all of my friends have sercome to. But I'm just waiting to see if being "calm" will result in good grades (marks) or should I have been nervous? Only time will tell
Death
For some reason completly unkown to me I have no fear of death.
It's strange but true. This is something I began to realise very recently
for some reason the idea or aspect of getting hit by a car (i was very nearly hit it barely missed me the other day) didn't faise me at all. I didn't even think about it till today that i really should've been more scared by this. Also if for some reason or another i do face my untimely demise it's not me i worry about(as i'll be dead so no longer have worry as once death is reached nothing else matters).
Is that normal? I'm a little worried about my sanity to say the least.
Bubble Burst
Internet 2nd Bubble Burst
I have quite litterly been ranting about the second internet buble burst for about a year now only to be "fallen on deaf ears". But now its in the paper (The Sunday Times Magasine) everyone (around the dinner table) was talking about it.
I was astonded. Why when I who have been saying something for like a year is it only picked up upon when it is in the paper (I have nothing against the writers of the artical it was in actual fact a quite good artical).
It was so obvious as well. I mean the internet is cheaper than ever, people all around us are giving up there jobs to persue careers in IT/ICT (which ever computer generation you are).
Well thats my rant for today.
Thanks for reading
My IQ
IQ
I recently discovered my apparent IQ (recently as in 30 minutes ago).
It is adledgely 120 which I know is in actual fact quite good or as its stated "above average" im in something like the top 6.7% of the country which im again fairly proud of.
But I know it must be higher than that (i don't think it helps that i took it at eleven at night or that I've been up since seven and the only thing thats keeping me up is a hot cup of tea).
The iq of 120 is good for anyone, Its fine for me considering I'm only 14 years old (i know my blog see's im 27 or something like that but i only put that because i'm not respected as an adult if Im honest and my views are never understood or comprehended if Im honest even expects me to be like my parents where when they where young "seen but not heard". But that would "opening another can of worms").
The reason Im dissapointed with my IQ score is that im top of my class for Science, English and one of the top in Maths, so its to be respected that I am kind of annoyed with my score. But the questions are set for a certain type of maths skill (being able to find the missing number or the questions of a problem solving nature). Which are not my mathmatic strong points.
Here's someone who is hoping he can improve his IQ with more education and practise. I would be intrested to hear your IQ's.
Of course I know IQ's not everything Its only a small factor in life. The true intellectuals with IQ's of 200 plus do have real problem with socalising with normal people. (My prime example is "The Big Bang Theory") but that is just a steriotype.
Teenagers
Why are teenagers always sterotyped as a bunch of rowdy "hoodys" who only go out drinking and doing drugs.
The media always discrimenats youth for the things which in fact everyone does when there young. I can pretty safely say everyone when they where young knows of one time or another when they have gone out and got drunk down the park our have "bunked" school. A large majority of people will admit to taking or at least trying illegal drugs at some point in there lifes (only with the exception of David Cameron).
Is this sterio type hear to give us a "common enemy" something which we all can agree is a problem but are they infact any different than us? Of course they aren't they only difference is honestly they are proberly alot smarter than use. The smartest people I know are in fact teenagers, they are constantly teaching me things I never knew.
So is this negative steriotype a good thing or is it going to lead to a national up roar and outrage when these so called "hoodies" become the next government and leaders of all the countries of the world.
I will leave it for you to decided
The thing I think about in the seconds before sleep
War Crimes
Why is it we only ever learn history from our point of view?
Why do we only remember the horrors that have happened to use? Yet we never remember the horrors we inflict on over?
What does the word LIBERATION mean to you? Does it mean where are trying to help support the people who have been oppressed by facist dictators or communists.
No it doesn't mean any of the above what it actually is a milatry term for beating, starving and pilaging the natives of the countries we are trying to "liberate". My one prime example is the battle (or should i say massacre)of the Vietnamese town of My Lai.
There was a Death toll reported of 149 which is estimated to actually be over 400 people. The massacre wasn't reported like many War Crimes the happen in almost every war ever recorded. The dictionary definetion of a war crime is:Any of various crimes, such as genocide or the mistreatment of prisoners of war, committed during a war and considered in violation of the conventions of warfare. Which they failed to add war crimes happen every day and the only way it is classed as a War Crime is once it gets caught.
